Disclaimer: If you saw the character on TV then Haim Saban owns it. If the only place you saw it was in a fanfic by Robert Gutheim or Mistri Xades then guess what: We own it! This is a new International Writing Collaboration which covers a lot of territory and several time zones since Robert lives on the East coast of the United States and Mistri.... well he lives all the way over in Australia, so as you can see it even covers two different hemispheres. This comes after Venturing Out. It takes place middle March 97. The Equinox Rangers are jumping through time. Sometimes we'll be with the Equinox Rangers Mistri, Adam, Andrew, Kim Hart, Chad, Maya, and Andros, and sometimes, we'll be with the remaining Resistance. Mistri of course owns the Equinox Powers. Mistri owns Vadaei, [that's pronounced VAY-di-I,] the Phaedos Powers and their bearers, Mistri, Geneva, Calcia, Edy, Asharani, Karei, Vedi, Dalila and Bambi. These nine characters cannot be borrowed, as Mistri is using them in a story for publication. They are protected under international copyright law.
Last time on Viva La Resistance....
"Carter, even the life support systems are down."
"Dana, life support especially for the medical bay is on a totally separate system from the rest of the base," Tyra said. "My team made sure to put multiple fail safes in."
"This can only mean one thing," the Professor said. "We must have an intruder."

June 27th, 1996.
The NMS slowed and approached Edenoi. "Okay," said Mistri. "We have to find Dex. We find him, I can convince him to help us."
"That's it?" asked Kim.
"From what I recall, the UAE wasn't majorly hurt here," Mistri said slowly.
"The reports said they were," said Chad and Maya at the same time.
"Yes. That's a major problem. The UAE is nowhere near Edenoi. It's been a no-go area since Dregon was defeated, which was three days after King Lexian heard of the death of Zordon," said Mistri.
"So this is just a recon mission?" asked Andros. "Sounds simple enough."
Mistri's eyes flashed. "Nothing is simple in this business anymore, Kerovian. Remember that. Now we are in the past, and every move must be calculated carefully. Thousands might die just because we were here. And a few may die because I didn't think. Nothing is simple." Andros looked at him, and wondered.
Mistri left the room, and nearly stumbled as a wave of terror came upon him. I can only hope. by the Power, it is a remote possibility.
~*~
"What did he mean? And what's bothering him" asked Andros.
The others didn't know. As soon as they had eaten, they went to the jump tubes.
Seven morphed Equinox landed on Edenoi. Their suits shimmered, and lost the Equinoxial look to them.
"Best not to advertise our proper identity," said Mistri, quietly.
~*~
"Dex! The UAE has sent seven Rangers! They must have gotten the morphers and empowered their Chosen!" cried Donaeus.
"What Rangers?" asked Dex, jumping to his feet. "Ecto-Phase Activate!"
"Pink Morphin, Green Zeo, Red Astro, Yellow Galaxy, Blue LightSpeed, Black Demona, and strangely enough... White Phaedos," finished Donaeus slowly.
"Fiara! That two-timing sistama! I'LL KILL HIM!!!!!" Dex roared. He was gone like a flash.
He soon came across the seven of them. "Why do you come here, Rangers?" he asked, making the last word an insult.
"Dex, we on Earth need your help," said Mistri.
"I don't help the United Alliance of Evil," he spat.
"What do you mean?" asked Andros.
"Only the UAE could have the morphers. And you, traitor. You'll die first."
Mistri had just enough time to think Oh . . shit.
Dex descended upon him and he was fuelled by rage, Mistri wasn't going to be able to beat him. But he tried.
"We haven't got the powers yet, you remember!" hissed Maya. "I'm going to try reasoning."
"Dex, we come in peace! We are of Earth, and well, we obtained the Equinox!"
This was the wrong thing to say. He attacked Maya next, leaving Mistri lying on the ground. "So much for Edenite hospitality," said Chad.
Andrew and Andros fell next, and Dex began to slow down a bit.
"Sali kasi jupine helani xio!" whispered Mistri, weakly. The spell left them healed. A swift kick to the head came flying at Dex, and he collapsed. They dragged him along with them, resolving to speak with Lexian.
~*~
Dex slowly came to. His head throbbed. He heard some voices.
"King Lexian. We have come to ask aid, as you well know. It seems that the famous hospitality of the Edenites had to be shown to me yet again. Why is it that every time I come here, people must insist on trying to beat me to death?"
"It's your luck," said Lexian, amusedly.
"Well. You'd better check on Dex, he's come to, and is seething to barely supressed rage and anger. Oh, and add humiliation to the list."
"Mistri of Phaedos," he called out. "Shut your mouth, or I'll shut it for you."
"You're the one trussed up like an Earth pig," he called back.
"Let me up," was all he replied.
Mistri sighed and telepathically released his bonds.
"What do you want here?" Dex asked tiredly.
"Well, a fair fight might be arranged at some point. But for now we wish your aid. If and when I contact you, you will need to come to Earth if you agree to aid us."
"When would we be contacted?"
"Six, nine, twelve months. I can't really say," said Mistri.
"You gonna get yourselves killed?" asked Dex.
"That is a distinct possibility," said Andros.
"Well, I guess I'll come along for the ride."
~*~
Several days later, Dex smiled as he bid farewell.
"Perhaps the Inquirians will be more receptive," he said, by way of an apology.
"Yes. And we'll just pass this off as a random UAE attack," said Mistri.
Dex grinned.
"Oh, and that fight?"
"Yes?" Dex replied. Mistri attacked, and in three seconds, Dex was on his back.
"You lose."

March 10th, 1997
The Rangers quickly fanned out. Joel, Tyra, and David taking the area around the main and auxiliary cut offs. Joel was armed with a rescue blaster while Tyra and David grabbed what ever they could find. As they entered the room where the cut offs were they saw a figure standing around.
"Halt." Joel cried out his Blaster in front of him. Tyra then headed over to the controls and restored Life Support along with the main power. Joel's mouth almost fell open when the lights came on.
"Hello Joel," the intruder said.
"Ms Fairweather, what are you doing here?"
"I have my orders Joel," Ms. Fairweather said as she looked at the Sky Cowboy.
"From who Ryan and Dana's father?"
"No from my master."
"She is evil," David realized. "Joel be careful."
Tyra then walked out into a corridor.
"Professor, we've identified the intruder. She apparently works for Ryan and Dana's dad. The UAE though looks to have gotten to her."
"This is not good Tyra. Not good at all. I'm contacting Chief Roxwood. He will have to be informed. I just hope the UAE hasn't taken over or infiltrated his organization. In the interim Sue is going to try to contact her mother so we can get an idea if a friend of her grandfather's is trustworthy or not."
A short time later in the Main Chamber Professor Damon is sitting at a desk.
"This does not sound good Pete. Bill Mitchell's group was always thought of as one of the most trustworthy groups on Earth. To know that the UAE has infiltrated it is sickening. My best suggestion for now is to fully restrain the prisoner and keep her from being able to escape."
"Chief Roxwood, what you just proposed is a good short term solution but what about long term?"
"There isn't much that can be done long term. She is a citizen of Earth even though your base is UDAB territory I'm not sure my officers have jurisdiction. You may have to relocate elsewhere and turn her over to the authorities on Earth."
"That could be difficult a few of my troops are on a special mission somewhere and well they are under orders not to break radio silence."
"I see," Chief Roxwood indicated.
Once the professor was off the line he made a second call.
"Yes Powermatic," The head of the United Department of Allied Benevolence said.
"I'm assisting Dimitria with a Ranger Unit on Earth only the UAE managed to infiltrate the base. I spoke with Chief Roxwood over at IGPF and he suggested we consider relocating our base elsewhere. I know for a fact that there is nowhere we can relocate to here on Earth."
"Most of the better planets are under UAE Control. We do have a very small outpost on Capsilon IX but it's abandoned."
"One of the Units under Dimitria and I trained on Capsilon IX."
"All I can say is this Powermatic if you can get the outpost up and running you can use it. FREDA the computer system there is very well programmed to keep the UAE out."
"I'll summon the Council together and see what they say."
A short time later Professor Damon was sitting down with the Council. He quickly explained the situation.
"Seems like a real problem. As it is my whole team knows Ms. Fairweather. It's hard to believe she would ally herself with Diabolico and the others," Carter said.
"Thing is Carter she did," Dana said. "The Phaedosian team is continuing to deteriorate . Ms. Fairweather's little trick with the power only made it worse. How sure are we that this outpost is secure?"
"It's really hard to say unless we send a unit to examine it," Tyra said since she was sitting in. "Unfortunately with seven rangers in sick bay and eight others away who knows where since we lost contact with them I'm not sure we can afford to send a unit to check it out."
"Personally Tyra I disagree with you. We can't afford not to check out this outpost. Sue soon as we hear from your Grandfather your team is going to deploy to Capsilon IX to A locate the outpost and B see if it is sufficient to suit our needs," Professor Damon indicated.
"Why not until we've heard from my grandfather?"
"I'm hoping he would be willing to accompany you."
Just as the meeting was breaking up Dimitria broke in.
"Professor, two people are preparing to teleport in."
"Thank you Dimitria."
Carter, the Professor and Sue headed for the main room. Sue's Grandfather was on hand with another male.
"Greetings Professor I'm Special Agent Roger Case DOD Intelligence."
"I checked him out and he is clean in that he isn't under UAE Control?"
"What brings your friend here Grandpa?" Sue wondered.
"I'm here to collect your prisoner. Unfortunately the UAE has the judicial system pretty well rigged in their favor."
"Not good grandpa," Sue commented.
"I know but Roger has things pretty well figured out."
Joel and Ryan then escorted Ms. Fairweather into the Main Chamber.
"There is no way you'll get away with this. My master will win in the end."
"Yeah yeah I've heard that before," Roger said as he made sure she was well handcuffed. In the process Ms. Fairweather gave him a nice ding along one cheek. Robert though quickly stunned her.
"Thanks Robert," Roger said. "Ready to RTB."
"You can go on ahead Agent Case. I have something to discuss with your boss."
Soon as the coast was clear the Professor briefed Robert in on things.
"I think it will work Powermatic. Sue your team ready to set sail for the Promised Land?"
"Almost Grandpa we just need to pack a few things like scanners, communications equipment, tentage, food, that kind of thing."
"Food sounds good, I wouldn't pack a lot of communications equipment, tents and other camping gear shouldn't be a problem but don't bother with Scanners. I'll handle that job," Robert said. "Each person should bring up to Fifty lbs of gear."
A short time later the Demona team along with Robert were on hand.
"Rocky, try not to eat everything you'll have to cook for the team leave about ninety percent for the others," Brianca was telling Rocky before they left.
"Nice try Brianca," Rocky said.
They then gathered in a circle.
"Everyone ready?" Robert asked.
"I think so Grandpa."
"Wait where's Andrew?"
"He is on a mission elsewhere."
"Well we better hurry then."
"Activating Long Range Teleporter," Billy said.
The Ranger exploratory team then started to teleport out.
