Monkees Blow Their Minds
(Program 57; Filmed 4/67; Broadcast 3/11/68)
Suffering from writer's block, Peter consults the world's leading mentalist,
Oraculo (Monty Landis). But instead of helping Tork with his ailment,
Oraculo places the wayward musician in his psychic servitude. Songs include:
"Valleri" (single version); "Gonna Buy Me A Dog" (instrumental mix); and
"Daily Nightly." Also, in a preshow segment, Michael Nesmith teaches Frank
Zappa how to play a car to the tune of the Mothers of Invention's "Mother
People."
