This wraps up the story line begun in the introduction and the section headers (or interludes, depending on what version you're reading). And just because the story line has an official ending doesn't mean that there won't be more chapters added! CR

Epilogue
Observe the Viewing Globe

As the images faded from the viewing globe, all Zordon could say, in the vernacular of his proteges, was, "Oh, man, that was awesome!"

Had he actually a physical body, he would have said he felt lightheaded, perhaps a little giddy. Had he a heart, it would have been beating a mile a minute. Had he been a man, he would have been in a state of intense arousal --on the razor's edge of a sense-shattering orgasm. Instead, the Morphin' Grid and his timewarp were alive with an influx of energy sufficient to mimic such a heightened state of being. Zordon could feel the charge running through him like a thing alive.

He tried to calm himself, only just now aware of how dangerously close to overload the Grid truly was. Such a state told him he had indulged himself overly long. The last time he pushed the limits of the Grid, he was stuck in limbo trying to recharge for a week!

Besides, if I do not return to the Power Chamber soon, Alpha will begin to wonder.

And it wouldn't do for his companion to find his video cache. He honestly had no idea what Alpha would make of his beloved Rangers behaving in very unRanger-like ways. With any luck, though, Alpha would be involved in another movie. Zordon sighed. At least it was Disney. It could have been worse. It could have been Jerry Springer.

Yet, there was one last thing Zordon wished to check on before returning to duty.

The Rangers --past and present-- were holding a reunion at Tommy's house. With the Red Ranger's parents about, he expected nothing out of the ordinary to occur. Still, it had been a while since he had seen some of the teens. It would be good to see them again.

However, the scene that flickered to life in the glowing orb sent the interdimensional voyeur's overwrought systems into overload.

"Gang bang Billy!" Aisha cried, and a wave of ten naked bodies surged forward. The original Blue Ranger was swept along by fiery kisses and passionate caresses. Every erogenous zone on his body was being attended to at once, and Billy was incapable of doing anything but enjoy it --and so was Zordon.

He closed his eyes as a moan of purest pleasure rumbled up from the depth of his being.

"Uuhhhnnnn...!"

The Morphin' Grid went critical, and the chamber was thrown into darkness.

"...bare necessities, the simple bare necess...i...ties...?" Alpha stumbled in mid-lyric as he sang along with Baloo and Mowgli when then Power Chamber was cast into total blackness.

"Aye-yi-yi! What happened? Are we under attack? Oohhh, I knew I shouldn't have started watching another movie," the automaton chided himself. "Zordon, shall I... Zordon? Zordon!"

That the interdimensional being had not returned to his familiar place in the warp housing rattled the little robot. His mechanical sense of panic continued to grow, as he attempted to restore power to the hidden outpost. Fortunately, his own infrared sensors enabled him to find his way around.

"All primary systems are nonfunctional... main generator off line... auxiliary power unresponsive.... Aye-yi-yi! Maybe Billy can figure out what's wrong."

However, with all controls inoperative, Alpha had no way of contacting the former Blue Ranger. No, there was one other option. The pint-sized automaton performed a self-diagnostic on his batteries. It had been a while since his last recharge, but he had enough power to spare. If he patched into the communication system, he would be able to raise the young genius, but what then? How would Billy get to the Power Chamber? The Rangers did know how to find the desert outpost on foot, but time was of the essence. The longer the sensors were down, the greater the risk of the Machine Empire discovering their vulnerability. Provided they weren't the cause.

What if he connected into the teleportation systems instead? He knew Billy's approximate coordinates: Tommy's house. He could program those in manually, and he was familiar enough with Billy's biosignature to be able to establish a good lock. And if Billy suddenly disappeared, his friends wouldn't be too mystified.

"Okay, here goes nothing," Alpha muttered as he jury-rigged himself to the master panel. "I hope this works. Oh, ay-yi-YOW!"

Instead of a nice, regulated flow of power, a massive surge ripped through the diminutive droid, shorting out the connection and sending him staggering across the chamber, his circuits smoking, but it had the desired --if slightly unexpected-- result. He had succeeded in teleporting Billy --as well as the other ten Rangers.

"Rangers!" Alpha squeaked happily as he regarded the groaning heap of entangled bodies.

"Oh, man, did anyone get the number of the bus that hit us?" Zack moaned.

"Wha' happened?" Jason mumbled.

"Tommy, are you okay?" Kim queried.

"Uhhnnn," was Tommy's inarticulate response.

"Rocky? Adam?" Aisha called out.

"Tanya and Katherine are unconscious as well," Trini reported.

"Alpha, what is going on here?" Billy asked, extricating himself from the muddle. One moment, he had been in the midst of an orgy, and the next, the five Zeo Rangers had been rendered insensible and all eleven had been teleported (to apply the term loosely) out of the Olivers' basement.

"I don't know," Alpha replied. "One minute, all systems were normal, and the next, everything --including auxiliary power-- was down."

"Was it an attack by the Machine Empire?" Jason asked, gathering his wits.

"Alpha, where's Zordon?" Trini inquired.

"He had been in a private chamber when everything shut down. I don't know where he is."

"I bet whatever zapped this place hit these guys as well," Zack surmised, indicating their slowly recovering companions.

"I need some light to examine the computers," Billy began distractedly, setting straight to work, the pleasures of mere moments ago forgotten.

"I'll see if I can find some candles or a flashlight or something," Kim volunteered.

"I'll help," Aisha piped in.

"Trini, why don't you give Billy a hand. Zack and I will see if we can revive Tommy and the others," Jason directed.

Together, Billy and Trini first set Alpha to rights.

"Thanks, Billy. Trini," the robot said appreciatively. Then he cocked his head questioningly. "Rangers, where are your clothes?"

A short while later, the Zeo Rangers were more or less recovered (albeit with splitting headaches), and with the light provided by Kim and Aisha, Billy and Trini had found some answers.

"It appears there was a charge building in the Morphin' Grid, causing it to overload. The backlash is what temporarily incapacitated the active Rangers," the one-time Blue Ranger related.

"Apparently, the energy build-up was centered in a location several levels below the main chamber," the original Yellow Ranger added.

"One of the storage areas?" Tommy ventured.

"No, even lower."

"I never realized there were any other levels to this place," Kat murmured.

"I, too, was unaware of the existence of any additional subterranean chambers...."

"Uh, oh."

Eleven heads turned to look at Alpha.

"Uh, oh?" Rocky prompted. The automaton sighed.

"Zordon has private quarters that no one else was supposed to know about," Alpha revealed.

"But we know about his meditation chamber," Adam interjected.

"This is different," Alpha continued. "I have never been down there... I discovered it by accident the last time this happened. It has an independent power supply...."

"You mean the entire Power Chamber had completely short circuited before?" Tanya gasped.

"Yes, over a century ago, a similar shut down happened in the original Command Center. It took a week for the Morphin' Grid and Zordon to recharge."

"You guys don't have a week," Jason began.

"As soon as the Machine Empire realizes we're powerless...." Tommy added soberly.

"If his chamber is on an independent power supply, I could divert a portion of the energy into the main batteries and recharge them," Billy proposed.

"How will we get down there? The elevators aren't working," Zack reminded him.

"Will the emergency access tubes go down that far?" Adam wondered.

"I don't see why not."

"Are you sure we should, Billy?" Trini asked.

"Yeah, Zordon went to an awful lot of trouble to make sure no one knew about that place," Kim echoed.

"But he'd like it less if this place got blown to bits again," Rocky asserted.

"Alpha, where are the walkie talkies? We can keep in touch with you that way," Billy decided.

"We're all going down?" Aisha questioned.

"Might as well stick together; Billy may need the extra hands," Jason reasoned.

"And there's no telling what we might find," Tommy followed up.

Armed with radios and emergency lumens, the past and present Rangers made their way to the ladder that descended into the bowels of the mountain.

"Good luck, Rangers!" Alpha called after them, hoping that they'd tell him what was down there and wondering if he'd ever find out why they were all naked and didn't seem to care.

"Oh, my...." Billy gasped, the first to drop through the cleverly hidden hatchway into the secluded room. They had certainly taxed Alpha's memory banks to find this place.

"What is it, Bil--" Tommy began as he followed. One by one, the rest of the team emerged to gaze in silent awe at the softly-lit chamber before them.

"It looks like a-a...." Adam stammered.

"A harem," Tanya concluded.

"Where are the belly dancers?" Rocky snickered. Kat gave him a chiding nudge.

"Where's the main console?" Billy asked rhetorically, the first to shake off his astonishment.

"Over here, I think," Jason reported.

All the guys except for Rocky and Zack followed Billy. The two boys and the girls set about exploring their surroundings.

"This is too weird," Aisha murmured.

"The viewing globe and timewarp tube look a little out of place," Zack noted.

"Arabian Nights meets The Jetsons," Rocky quipped. "Although, I gotta admit, I've sort of missed seeing that crystal ball in the Power Chamber."

"I wonder what Zordon uses this place for," Kat mused.

"Perhaps this reminds him of Eltar," Tanya proposed.

"True, we really don't know anything about what his homeworld is like," Trini added.

"You guys have got to try out these cushions," Kim called out from where she lay snuggled in a nest of brightly colored pillows. "Mmm, nice and comfy."

Zack flopped down beside her. "They're even nicer than satin sheets."

"What would you know about satin sheets?"

At the far end of the chamber....

"Okay, Tommy, Adam... that's good. Jason, if you'd depress the red mechanism.... Alpha, how's that?" Billy radioed as he orchestrated the power transfer.

"Registering a charge in main batteries. Minimal power restored to all functions... sensor are on-line," came the report.

"Great job!" Tommy commended with a congratulatory pat on the back.

"I can't figure out what Zordon would need with a place like this," Jason mumbled. A squeal of laughter drew the quartet's attention, and they looked over to see Rocky and Zack deluged with pillows.

"Too bad your basement wasn't decorated like this, Tommy," Adam chuckled.

"According to my and Trini's preliminary investigations, the surge originated down here," Billy went on. "I wonder if I can pull up the activity log and see what Zordon was doing when the power shut down."

"Anything we can help with?" Tommy offered.

"Not at the moment, but I'm sure Rocky and Zack would be grateful for your assistance."

The three didn't need to be told twice and eagerly joined in the melee. It wasn't long before the playful romp began to evolve into a resumption of their previous orgy. However, Billy was all but oblivious to the activity about him as he examined the available data. The trail was difficult to track, but at last, the former Ranger had unlocked the mystery. If he had had a chair, he would have sat down --hard.

"Oh. My. God."

His stunned words cut through the merriment and erotic play of his teammates, who wandered over to the console.

"Billy, what's wrong?" Jason asked.

"What did you find?" Tommy prompted.

"This is a printout of the activity in the Morphin' Grid over the last several hours," Billy began numbly as he passed the chart around.

"This looks like the map of a spike you once showed me," Trini commented.

"During the time period plotted on that graph, Zordon was reviewing a series of files. They were buried so deep in a subdirectory and protected by some of the most sophisticated safeguards I have ever encountered...."

"No offense, Billy, but cut to the chase," Kim interrupted. "What was Zordon watching?"

To his companions' surprise, Billy blushed hotly.

"Pornographic videos."

"What?" all ten chorused.

"Of us."

"WHAT!?"

"Apparently, Zordon was not as ignorant of our hormonal side effects and our solution to assuaging them as we've assumed."

"He's known all along?" Kat gasped.

"Billy, according to this directory, there are hundreds of files here," Adam exclaimed, peering over his friend's shoulder to look at the screen.

"Correct, dating from Jason and Trini's first encounter in the backseat of his car to our interrupted orgy in Tommy's basement."

"But why would he do something like that?" Kim asked.

"Zordon, an interdimensional voyeur. Who'd a thunk," Aisha giggled.

"Like mentor, like Ranger, eh, Billy?" Zack chortled.

"Well, I suppose being stuck in a timewarp for 10,000 years would give a guy a pretty bad case of blue balls," Tanya snickered.

"According to my research, Eltarians are a very passionate, physical people," Billy interjected.

"Waitaminute!" Rocky shouted. The others fell silent. "You're telling us that Zordon was watching dirty movies of us fucking ourselves silly, hit the equivalent of an orgasm and shorted himself out?"

"Affirmative."

Rocky promptly lost it, rolling on the floor, laughing his ass off.

"What should we do about this?" Kat asked.

"Nothing," Billy replied.

"Nothing?" Kim gaped incredulously.

"To be honest, I kind of feel sorry for Zordon," Trini said.

"Me, too," Aisha agreed.

"For all he's done for us... the earth... the galaxy, who are we to begrudge him this outlet for his pent up frustrations?" Billy rationalized.

"So Zordon watches," Tommy added with a shrug. "Some of us get off on knowing that we're being watched." And he shot his best friend a pointed look.

"It could be worse," Tanya essayed.

"Zordon could have been so uptight about us having sex that he'd have forbidden it," Adam commented.

"Let's let Zordon have his little secret," Jason said. "He doesn't have to know we're aware of any of this."

"Although, I sure would like to see what sort of stuff he has in there," Zack murmured. Everyone exchanged glances.

"I believe I can call up the files Zordon had been perusing before the system shut down without the additional activity being detected," Billy offered.

Eagerly, everyone else scampered off to find a good seat among the lush profusion of cushions.

"Too bad we didn't bring any popcorn...."

"Rocky...!"

"There, I believe that should do it," Billy announced as he found the remote control and bounded over to join the others. He tossed the device to Jason. "You want to do the honors, since you're in the first one up?"

As the lights dimmed and the orb flickered to life, Jason intoned in his best Zordon imitation, "Rangers, observe the viewing globe."
